We were outside, all of us, so that Michael and Richard could take the last of their magic from Evan, because his hand is done, and when it was gone he screamed and there was fire everywhere and my head is killing me because I was stealing Marcus' vision so we could see what was going on, and I don't -- I don't know, when I could see they were just all crumpled like puppets with the strings cut.
Evan's fleshcrafting is fairly strong; it's entirely possible that when his magic was back under his full control, without his being unable to use it for anything but regrowing his hand, it... sought out any avenue of release, I suppose is the best way of terming it. Did any of them look different? Physically altered, even in a small way?
