changelog watch

something broke changelog.

last revision of the livejournal repository is r9503.
last revision of the ljcom repository is r3936.

latest in svn of livejournal is r9521.
latest in svn of ljcom is r3947.

i have an issue with this onewhat happens if the author of the entry doesn't want to receive any more comments and won't reply to any more, but wants the ( Read more... )

Is "New comment feature: disable further commenting" a good title?

And what did you think of exactly? Would all new comments be disabled - including replies to existing comments?

Benefits? I'm always stuck when it comes to this part.

title is good.
all new comments would be disabled.
it would essentially freeze all of the threads and disable the creation of any new top-level comments as well.

benefits: content of comments may contain information pertaining to the entry that may be interesting for readers but author wishes for no further comments to be added.
