Checked it with our girl and it's okay in the latest Firefox, Safari, and Opera.

I got the standard "We'll look into it. Sorry for the inconvenience." response with a "You might want to update to the newest version of your browser." tacked on. We all know that it's usually a good thing to have the latest version of your browser, but sometimes I feel like that's included as a way to solve the problem, instead of LJ making sure their site is compatable with more than two browsers at one large screen resolution.

That probably means it's broken in Netscape 7 (I haven't updated to 8 because the whole point of not using IE is you're not using IE's rendering engine).
