In case you HAVEN'T heard this, I strongly suggest you go have a listen (it's only about a minute long) before reading my thoughts below.

Hahahaha! Excellent.

There's just something about voice alone that's so fucking intimate, ugh. *claws at keyboard*

The first time I heard that I assumed it was the narrative intro to a film (short, indie, or otherwise) and DESPERATELY WANTED TO SEE IT (FWIW, I think it was the backing music at the end that made me think film over it being a recitation of some sort).

Then I found out what it was and there was lots of pouting. I agree with your plan to ignore the canonical source and run with it in a different direction - that is the great and terrible liberty of creative (fandom) work, is it not?

That's an excellent point. Yay for the fannish tradition of ignoring canon for the sake of CLEARLY SUPERIOR imagination!

...I'd agree with you more eloquently, but your icon is, um, very distracting. *_*

That icon's name is "Inception - Tom Hardy you hot bastard". I like to use it whenever the occasion permits (and sometimes when it doesn't *g*).

I thought it was a poem he wrote about overcoming drug/alcohol addiction through acting - losing/finding himself in embodying characters. God, is that really just a Nike plug? I am going to pretend it isn't, too.
