I AM SO EXCITE. I AM SEEING THIS NEXT TUESDAY AND I HAVE FUCKING AMAZING SEATS - CENTER ORCHESTRA, TEN ROWS BACK.

Um. HOWEVER. I am seeing it with my parents. Am I going to DIE? Like, I've SEEN the video, I SORT of know what I'm getting myself into, but. No, seriously. AM I GOING TO DIE?

(If you're wondering MC HOW THE FUCK DID YOU END UP DECIDING THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA, the answer is that I wanted to take my mom for her birthday, and then my dad was all SADFACE ...am I invited? and so then it turned into a big FAMILY OUTING. I DON'T EVEN KNOW.)

Also, if I ever finish my other two fics *facepalm* I totally take a shot at this, seriously. So long as you're okay with a little Billy Elliot mixed in, because they're all connected in my brain.

YOU ARE SO TOTALLY GOING TO DIE YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DIE. But it is pretty intense, or at least it was for the four of us sitting in front row mezz (it took much of my self-control not to clutch anyone's hands during several scenes). Also, heads up: the swans are wearing powdery-white body makeup, and the more they dance, the more the makeup sort of... melts off? And there is this drool-worthy ~glistening of the torsos. And - yes. Um. Maybe your parents will be so swept up by the story that they won't notice your reactions?

YAY!!! Btw, let me know if you need me to read anything, or just squee in your general direction or whatever. <3

Hee, as soon as I have more words for you to read, I will send them your way!

I think I'm gonna be okay. I will just not be able to flail as I will want to until AFTER the ballet. So long as I can convince myself that my parents are TOTALLY JUST PAYING ATTENTION TO THE ART, I think I'll be fine.

*facepalm*

Have you ever seen it? You should rent the DVD! It's really beautifully done. And Adam in your icon is, like, THE Glam Swan. ♥_♥

I have NO CONTEXT WHATSOEVER for that photo. Actually I feel a little skeevy posting it since it's a personal pic from before he joined Adam's band; but it's been posted in tjrpics and he knows of the site and hasn't asked the mods to remove any of those, sooooo... yeah. ANYWAY. Yes: Tommy Joe is holding a toy swan. In the opening scene of MB's Swan Lake, the Prince sleeps with a toy swan. The universe is clearly saying that this fic needs to happen, I mean it's practically DESTINY.

(I heart him so, I can't even)

Wait, are you talking about the traditional Swan Lake or Matthew Bourne's version? If you've seen the MB ballet at the age of 9... wow. WOW.

(I think at least parts of it are on YouTube, btw.)

YES, she will write it! She said so! I plan to encourage the hell out of this endeavor, js. :D

TOMMY, WHAT IS THIS PICTURE!?

(It's also totally not fair that he looks like the lovechild of Jeremy Renner and Tom Hardy
I see it and I approve!

I HAVE NO CONTEXT FOR THE PICTURE. Except that he is evidently the cutest person that ever lived, or whatever. IDK.

You see the resemblance?! YAY!!! That made me extra-happy during the show. Oh, such pretty, pretty boys.

I still can't figure out what he's holding. Just...WHAT??

It's a toy swan, possibly part of a costume of some kind. I can vaguely date the picture based on his jacket (it's got the logo of one of his old bands) but I've no clue why he'd be holding a swan. IT'S A MYSTERY FOR THE AGES.
