*fingers in ears, dammit*

No. No. No. SO not going here again. Shore lost my trust at the start of S3, and I'm not giving it back. No. I have a WHOLE NEW One True Show now, and I'm happy with it. I Have Moved On.

... dammit.

See, I will never have the faith in this show that I once did. And my falling-out with it was basically a perfect storm, in that I lost patience with the writing and the direction fandom-at-large was taking more or less at the same time, a time in which I was also starting to branch out in terms of fandoms, and...

But it certainly wouldn't hurt to take a look.

Doris Egan is really just the queen of character interaction/development and the GODDESS of writing Wilson. Seriously. If I ever met her, I think I'd kiss her feet. I managed to meet Neil Gaiman in person without offering to bear his children, but I don't think I could do the same with Doris Egan. XD

It's funny, because even though the Foreman/PotW plot was well done, I was SO DISTRACTED by the INCREDIBLE GAYNESS that I could barely concentrate on it. So I definitely have to give it another watch to give that part of the episode the attention it deserves.

How great was that scene when House learned that Wilson is fantastic in bed????

Oh, that scene! The look on Hugh's face - omg, he is THINKING ABOUT IT!!! It's just... *flails*

(Also, damn right Wilson is fantastic in bed. And damn right he doesn't realize just how fantastic he is - notice how he asked House if Bonnie said he was BAD in the sack? *giggles*)

The Foreman plot was remarkably well done. Even Cameron acted as if she'd grown up overnight - reminding him to do what the *patient* needs - but I'm sure that was just a one time fluke thing. *eg*

When the ep ended, all I could do was say, "Oh, *Foreman*." And want to hug him a lot.

And then, maybe ten minutes later, I went back to the euphoric glee I'd had during EVERY SINGLE SCENE ABOUT WILSON.

Doris Egan is my god. Heart heart heart. :)

You know, for all the main plot focusing on Foreman, this was really an INCREDIBLE Wilson ep! I can't believe how much we learned about him - or rather, how much we realized we assumed correctly about him. *g*

Doris Egan has resurrected my love for this show. She is a freakin' miracle worker. *loves intensely*

"James Wilson is never the safe choice."

Seriously!! I will treasure that line forever and ever because you just know how much House is talking about himself there! I'm not sure if he's fully aware of it, but he SO is!

I also loved the Foreman plot and thought it really added to the episode. Plus we got to see Wilson just being there for House when he needed him in the way that his ex-wife had just described as his number one seduction technique and then said that he'd always be there for House before anyone else.

And, yeah, I just agree with everything you've said, really. SO! MUCH! LOVE!!! It feels so good to have this much LOVE again!

I remember talking to trishkit in season one about Wilson and giggling over the description of him as "danger in argyle socks" - but it's SO TRUE, PUNNY. HOUSE SAYS SO TOO. And he's not really joking! Especially not when it comes to HIMSELF!

When the ex wife tells House that, after days/weeks of friendly support, she jumped Wilson (instead of the other way around)? House gets this LOOK on his face that makes me think he's wondering why HE hasn't jumped him yet. I mean, Wilson's been there for him for YEARS now! How long does it take for a guy to get a clue?!?

Omg, the love. I'm still riding high on it, more than 24 hours later! Wheeeeee!!!

OMG SO MUCH LOVE! I just... the TOTAL GAYNESS, the well-done POTW, Wilson's speech to the patient (which almost made me cry, too) and House being OBSESSIVE and Wilson NEVER BEING SAFE - just the whole thing had me squeeful in a VERY CAPSLOCK SQUEEFUL WAY *g*

I am STILL in capslock stage, even though it's been 24 hours!!! THE GAY! AND ALSO, THE BRILLIANT! AND THE AWESOME WRITING!!! Oh, I've missed feeling this much love for the show.

Also, how hilarious are Wilson and Cuddy going 100% medical in their art critique?! "That's got to be causing intestinal damage." "Is that a... bicycle seat?"

*LOVES*
