Nathan had been in the shower and therefore hadn't heard the pick of the lock. He slipped on slacks and a ribbed sweater before walking into the living room to sit on the couch. He leaned over to pull on socks and lace his shoes oblivious to anyone else's pressence in his brothers' apartment.

He's startled by the sight of Nathan -- he's a far cry from that annoying grin plastered all over posters and bus sides. He watches him for a long moment, starting to put the pieces together. How low the mighty have fallen, and now he doesn't even want to take a bit of pleasure in it. "Oi. Nathan..." he says softly, fading into view.

Nathan felt his heart stop and then pound in his chest as he narrowed his eyes and was on his feet. He flung himself at the man in his brothers' apartment and pushed him back to the wall, forearm at his throat. "Who the fuck are you? Come after me now? What? Attacking women isn't enough for you?" He raved pure anger and adrenaline.

For an instant he's startled by Nathan's rage, chokes and reaches up to claw at the man's arm. Maybe a second more than an instant, but that's all. Then he grabs Nathan's elbow, expertly hitting a pressure point and nearly bringing the man to his knees. "Stop!" His voice is gravelly, and damn, that actually hurt! "'m not attacking you, ya daft fool! Bloody hell, ya stink like a distillery..."
