I should probably consider myself lucky that nothing of mine mysteriously fell out of the sky this time.

Not that this "sneaky group" ever gets the hint and sends me my laptop, but even if they did, sensitive electronic equipment doesn't fare so well when it's dropped from hundreds of feet in the air

That is lucky, if it would've broken in the fall. After all, it'll be there for you when you're sent back, won't it? Or--is it something you need?

I think it's more of a case of if I'm sent back, rather than when, isn't it? And while I guess I don't strictly need it, I can certainly write faster on it than I can by hand.

I do. In fact, I used to make a living out of it back home. I was even a little bit famous for it.
