"Hello." He said, summoning up all the inclination toward 'friendly' that he had at his disposal. It wasn't much, considering he'd withdrawn from those around him, not that he had any time to socialize between two jobs and a full course load. "Need some help?" He asked, just to be polite, although he didn't really anticipate a positive response.
In the meantime, he checked the mailbox for Apartment 1 -- may as well make himself useful. Nothing but junk mail, addressed to 'Resident'. That was the usual case, unfortunately. No one wrote letters anymore.

Regarding the white-haired man with suspicious eyes, she spotted the box in his arms. Was this to be her new roommate? The smile on his face was anything but warm and reminded her of the creeps who went into her shop looking for kiddie porn. What had she gotten herself into, agreeing to live with a strange older man she knew absolutely nothing about? Risa looked over her glasses at him and raised an eyebrow in order to prod some kind of response.

His offer of help refused, he adjusted the bag hanging sideways across his body, then nodding to the others, Uryuu started to make his way toward his apartment. He really didn't have much to offer in the way of meaningless, idle chatter or introductions -- he didn't know either of them and they didn't know him.
And maybe, that's just how he liked it.
