[Ami is not happy, and the voice over the journals has trouble keeping itself firm. Somehow she manages to speak clearly, but there's a noticeable tremble.]
Um, everyone? I know... we were just planning her party, but Usagi-chan has gone home. [She bites her lip, and then nods firmly as if to steel herself to go on.]Hinata-san, I have your

D-Doctor Mizuno. [He can't really tell feelings well, but... he noticed that shake, just barely. And... Usagi was somebody Ami really cares for.
And Luceti took her away so quickly... Robert can't help but think what would happen if Luceti ripped Donatello away, or Helios, or Litchi, or Ami herself...]

I know it's better that she's home. I know that people don't stay here forever.

Doctor Mizuno... [Robert's voice is gently insistent.] Please... if there is something wrong, I would like to know, so I could help you... You are my... friend. [Such an important statement here, for somebody who never even had them before Luceti. He has an obligation to help, to fill that emptiness somehow, even if he can never replace Usagi.]

As am I... if you would like some company, I would be most willing to provide you with some.
There may not be a full-scale party now, but... I could still bring something for you, if you would like? Perhaps some interesting books... it is strange but I have mostly gotten used to them. [It helps if he doesn't think about how many trees had to die for each book.]

I'd be happy if you came. [She can hardly turn someone away, after all. Especially if they're interested in spending time with her. No matter the circumstances.]

Splendid. [And Robert gathers up his journal and interesting reading material - hopefully, though they might never actually get to read it - and starts to head to Ami's house. Slowly. He remembers where she lives, though - House Three - so he doesn't have to bother her with that.
Likely by the time he's gotten there, Mike will already be there in the other thread. As such, Robert knocks politely on the door, oblivious to the inherent awkward meeting that's going to result.]
