[Today Ami has a somewhat odd request, or perhaps not so odd as the picture window suggests she's making the post from the clinic. And since this will be needed essentially permanently, it's best to ask about a new one.]I'll also look, but does anyone know of a wheelchair in good condition that someone could use? Failing that, I know a lot of

A wheelchair? [Such devices, while still ancient, have been refined in Robert's time and he recognizes the terminology.] Is there someone here who is having difficulty walking, perhaps from the draft? Or is that person differently-abled in some manner?
[He makes a sort of sad noise at the mention of the draft, but doesn't really comment. Having had time to think about it, he discovered that the idea of Ami fighting didn't bother him as much as it should have. It... did, in a way, but... she was fighting for... a reason? She was helping people, anyway. And at least she didn't enjoy the battles.]
... Oh, I spoke to Rupert Giles myself, and he did mention you. Such an exceedingly informative and eloquent individual. [If a little odd due to being from a magical world... but it's like Helios. That's something Robert can relate to.
The rest gives him some pause before he continues.] And Usagi-chan... Ah, I remember ( ... )

[She falls silent a moment, but plunges ahead.]
I'm glad to see Usagi-chan. She's from a world very slightly different from mine, but it's still her, so I'm happy. I just wish it wasn't here.

Ah, so she is from another multiversion of your world...? Most fascinating. It is indeed a shame that we are still trapped here... but, I must say, I have learned so many things and met so many wonderful people here [- and Robert's voice goes almost... fluttery there -] that I would not wish to revoke them.
Still, it would indeed be better to be at home, most likely... just, it would also be nice if there were some method of taking people to other multiverses from here as well.

It is why I hope to endeavour towards some sort of solution to the problem of the villagers being unable to leave Luceti. If there is some way that we can find a solution to that, then it seems that visiting other worlds from here is the next logical step.
[He seems thoughtful a moment before continuing.]
Would you require any sort of technological assistance with your friend, by the way? I know several technologically-inclined individuals, such as Mr. Japan, who might be able to assist in the creation of any devices she might need to negotiate the village... That is assuming the technology exists here, but of course it could perhaps be manufactured.

What about the other buildings in Luceti? Will she be able to access them, or will they also need adjustments?

[Since she, you know, lives in the water.]
We'll figure out where she'll live, and go from there. So far, she's gotten around by her friends helping her. This will already lessen that difficulty. We can begin working on building modifications if the chair turns out to work well.

[Robert actually hasn't met Keimi yet - he would've instantly been interested in her, due to the fact she's a non-human sapient, if he had.]
I am glad that she already has assistance though, especially from yourself.

She arrived somewhat recently, yes.

Or perhaps they are just being short-sighted - or even deliberately cruel. That is not beyond them.

We have nowhere near as many rights here as we should... but that is the Malnosso for you.

... At any rate, I hope things are going well enough for you. It has been some time since we last spoke, on the fifth. [There's some remaining... awkwardness? Well, he doesn't know. He can't really tell, but he hopes that there isn't really any... discomfort there, on her end. Or his.
He wishes he could tell emotions better.]

[She switches to a quick filter, 100% of course.]
We're planning a party for Usagi-chan now that she's here. Will you come?
