Welcome Pilots Lovers! I'll be conducting the DPP train this week, and I hope you'll come aboard for the ride!
Today, we're kicking off a little game that I think you'll all know and love...
L-R: Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Ms. Green, Colonel Mustard (lying), Mr. Boddy, Mrs. Peacock, Ms. White
We'll, of course, be adapting this classic game with a bit of a twist. It's not so much about dead-bodies (although I suppose it could be!) in this version as canoodling pilots! You'll leave prompts in a clue-style format, and hopefully other folks will come along and fill them. (Or you can fill them yourself if you really want to!)
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
1) In the game of CLUE, players try to guess which character (who) killed someone in a certain location (where) with a certain weapon (what).
For example:
WHO: Colonel Mustard
WHERE: in the Library
WHAT: with the Candlestick
In OUR game of Clue, players will leave prompts! The who is implied (Kara and Lee), but the where, when and what are up to you to decide!
Examples:
WHERE: Under Kara's Viper
WHEN: Season One
WHAT: Motor Oil
You can also, if you so desire, leave a bonus prompt of a piece of dialogue, you'd like to see integrated in the drabble.
EXAMPLE:
WHERE: Colonial One quorem room
WHAT: Caprican delegate nameplate
WHEN: Season 4
BONUS: "You want to pass a motion, Lee?"
Please leave each prompt in a separate comment for easier filling. Maybe multiple will fill your prompt with different versions of what might have happened, like the fantastic ending of the movie?!
I'm sure you get the idea, right? A few more general thoughts: your drabbles or ficlets (or full-sized fics!) don't have to be sexy, they could be funny, or cracky or murderous just like the game. Maybe K&L are on a killing spree through the ship? Hey, sky's the limit. If you can think of some way to fill the prompt other than writing, that would be fine too. Maybe you're a photoshop whiz and can manipulate a picture? Go for it!
The game will continue throughout the week. Feel free to play at any time.
ETA: FOR TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, An extra twist for those who would like the challenge--Tell your story from the POV of someone--or something if you wanna get anthropomorphic--other than Lee or Kara.
All prompts, filled or unfilled, are ripe for drabbling!
