Morning ladies and fanfolks :D (Well, it's almost afternoon here) I am posting early for two reasons - 1) I am going out. and 2) MOAR TIME FOR FICTIONS!!! which is always a good thing.

Every week, once a week, they take a Raptor shuttle down to the planet.

"Can you believe this place?" Kara asks from the cockpit as he does post-flight checks and shuts down the consoles, and when he looks up at her she's squinting out into the bright sunlight of New Caprica, taking stock of their surroundings.

"What do you mean?" He asks, unzipping his flight suit and peeling it down to his waist, it's hot down here, and those things do not breathe ( ... )

Oh gosh, PAINFUL, knowing what's to come. Sigh. Love the awkwardness around the Dee question.

*sigh* this is so them, it feels like an outtake from pre-UB. It's lovely (and how many times am I going to use the word "perfect" for your drabbles without starting to sound like some lame-o who's read Twilight one too many times?) but reading it with the knowledge of what's to come, like taragel says, is PAINFUL. Poor Lee and Kara, she ended up doing a lot of things she said she never would (and we know what the next one did to him).

You are just too adorable :) Believe me, I know exactly what you mean, it is so difficult to express yourself properly in reviews without sounding insanely gushy or using the same words over and over again. I consider myself to have a fairly extensive vocabulary, but give me a fic I love and ask me to review it, I'm all fjkhpishrenwpuhng;wohphsuperawesomeandlovelyandreallyjust,yeahjnfkhdfignwrtgbp It sucks.

I do kind of like the sad aspect of reading it in hindsight, of knowing what she's going to do to him and how much it's going to screw them over. The thing I love about early pilots is how optimistic they seemed about everything, before it all went to hell.

*sigh* my poor pilots :(

Also, may I just note that I LOVE that you used a quote out of Buffy for this. (that was my first-ever fandom, and such an amazing show).

Hee! You absolutely may :D I love that line, in fact that whole episode (Primeval?) is just full of absolutely incredible lines of abstract awesome foreshadowy goodness. I just love Joss Whedon's brain.
