Hi guys, I switched my after-BS conditioner from ACV to lemon juice, thanks to some commenters - SCORE! My hair is soft, smooth and shiny! However, I was wondering exactly how much lemon juice to use for best results

Oh, I need to try this instead. I can't do the ACV -- it doesn't seem to work on me. The water here is hard water, and my hair is thick medium-length Asian hair, too! Here's hoping it works for me, too.
I do it differently as I'm WO. I slice a lemon in half, get my hair nice and wet, then rub the slice all over my scalp. It makes my hair gloriously shiny and really brings out my curls the next day.
I use 2-3 tbsp of fresh lemon juice and 1 tsp of honey in about 12 oz. of water. I leave it on for a few minutes then rinse. Seems to work well for me, but I'm thinking about using a little more honey just to see how my hair reacts.
Yes, it's a rinse. I use a squirt bottle from work that happens to be around that many ounces, so I just went with it. I even put have two large metal bowels (also from work when they were going to throw them out. Perfect bowels for rinsing that would have cost a ton of money in the store) to catch the rinse and reapply. Then I leave it on, or rinse it out after a few minutes.
Lime juice is now one of my favorites. It's a stronger concoction in herbal water, so I leave it on for 2 -5 minutes then rinse out. Takes care of the waxiness with no problem.
