Dean wallpaper: Angel wings
I made this for an art contest at nanoks, and it is my first challenge, so wish me luck ;-). It´s more a banner than a wallpaper and can be used as base:
My thoughts on this: Please assume it is Dean, though it´s Jensen in the pic, I know. The series never fails to promote Dean´s low self-esteem, and I guess that´s just the consequence of always trying to live up to his father´s expectations (and being under the impression of failing). But Dean is standing up for his belief, he keeps fighting the good fight ((@ all Hereos-fans: Sorry!!! *sobs*)), and his soul may be blemished and broken- he still is pure somehow. As much as he needs redemption, he is part of God´s plan. And that´s why his wings are outstandingly white and clear, more distinct than Dean himself. And as much as the darkness wants to devour him- it can´t. These wings and what they stand for protect him from it and shield him.
And in this version Dean is more distinct, but is sort of contradicts the original idea (I still like it):
