Well, darlings, it really feel like this place has a pattern. A cycle even with its disappearances. I expect we'll be taking on water or arrivals any day now.

So, what is this place like on Halloween?

Uhura, can we take a trip to CES? I want some sun.

Of course I am, Ana. And, if this place is as terrible as you say it is, then why don't you try and get out? [She started towards the door.]

No, I don't expect you to suddenly change your mind. I expect you to realize that this is not the place you want to be. That Rex and James are here for a reason...and that reason is not because of you. If given half the chance, I'm sure they would leave you here to go back to their home, their positions of power.

[Ana stood her ground and glared at Uhura even as she started towards the door.]

They would not.

[Ana frowned quickly and harshly; she was really getting exceptionally angry with Uhura. This was taking a giant leap over the line.]

Just because Spock left you doesn't mean James and Rex would leave me. I'm not an idiot, I know Rex let me think he was dead, but he still brought me into that world despite of it. And I know he wouldn't leave me here like that; he'd figure out a way. And so would James.

[Ana didn't make her wait, because this was a rather stupid thing to get sent to zero for. No, she'd wait and save it for something big and important. She trapezed past Uhura and out the door.]
