Wow, been awhile since I've had a character that actually needed an info post for more than GIFS.
So this is Agent New York (hereby known as York) from the webseries Red vs Blue which is the same webseries I apped from ages ago because I have been watching this show since I was fifteen, no joke. Which would be the same canon that worstofalltime is from. They're from the same timeline as well, which is fun. York is another Freelancer, one of the best of the group. He's only beaten by two badass ladies named Carolina and Tex. No, the state theming does not stop with the Freelancers. So that means he's one of those dudes who wears armor a lot of the time. His is a nice bronze-y gold.
So he's part of a group of badass super soldiers who were led to believe that they were doing good in the world but it turns out they were just a bunch of highly trained, high-tech thieves. Which York takes exception to. He teams up with Tex in order to take Project Freelancer down, which pits him against several of his Freelancer buddies which include Carolina and our very own Wash.
As a Freelancer York is resident lock pick one of the best fighters in the group and one of the most level-headed. He always prefers to come up with a plan instead of barging right into battle, which probably explains why he got paired with the most logical AI available to him.
Oh yeah, he's got an AI. His name his Delta and he's got a metaphorical stick up his butt.
Delta is not a complete AI, he's a piece broken off an alpha AI. He represents the alpha AI's logic and he's, well, logical. His job is to assess every situation and determine the best course of action. And he will. No matter what the situation is. He lives inside York's head so while York can hear him at all times, regular folk will only be able to see him when he chooses. He'll appear by York's shoulder as a mini-Spartan with a nifty green glow. As serious as he can be he is a good guy and genuinely cares for York. People are free to talk to him if they're not annoyed by his dry sort of humor.
Despite being from the same group that Wash and Tex came from York is actually a very laid back and humorous sort of guy. He's super friendly to people he meets and he teases in jest a lot. He was a sort of big brother figure to Wash back in the day, though that relationship might be strained now due to Wash still working for the Freelancer Project. Wash was a lot goofier back then. Easier to make fun of.
York has spent the last few years avoiding Project Freelancer and being a thief in order to get by and now he's the owner of the Freedom Arms. He'll post on Tuesdays most of the time since that's when I have off and he'll be looking to hire people for the other shifts.
So you'll see York one of three ways. At first you'll see a lot of him in his armor just because that's how people in the RvB universe roll. Then you'll see him as either his CGI self:
As you can see from above York has one eye. He lost the left one during a training fight. He took it in stride and didn't let it make him bitter towards his teammates. Instead he uses Delta to keep a look out on his blind side and let him know of any danger.
And his human PB will be played by a poorly shopped Jensen Ackles via the later seasons of SPN.
