OOC - Theories, or There's no word for that level of fuckitude...

Okay. Wild-arse theory time here. Hiro-mun and I were talking about the episode on the way home, and spinning scenarios that just get worse and worse the more we think about them...

See... Next season is "Villains", right?

And if the shooter really is Bennet (c'mon, I'd know that stalk anywhere!), that means he's out there, doing the Company's bidding. Working for the Company = Villain, right? Yes, we all know he's doing it for a good cause, protecting his family, BUT, that's way too much power handed over to them. They can say do anything -- all they have to do is threaten his family, and he has to do it!

Well, (and this is where the crack starts hitting hard and fast) Company policy is to team a normal and a special, right? Probably not going to stick Elle with Bennet, since she's currently AWOL... Who would they use? Niki's out of the picture, and Bob wouldn't risk himself. But...

Nathan was shot in Odessa, TX. What's to say the ambulance that picks him up and rushes him off to the "hospital" is a legitimate ambulance or that the "hospital" is a legitimate hospital? And, once he's in the Company's hands, they can promise to save him and protect him, if PETER does whatever they tell him to.

Imagine the team of Bennet and Peter, doing the Company's bidding to keep their loved ones safe!

Remember what Sylar said at the end of season 1? He's the hero? Yeah...

*shudder*
