Katie stays as close to me as physically possible, so close I can feel her trembling. "It's alright, Kitten," I whisper to her.

At that moment, my dad appears. We look quite a bit alike, at least, that's what I've been told. I guess I can see it. "Dad, this is Katie. Katie, my Dad."

"Pleasure to meet you, Mr Wood." Katie sounds as nervous as she looks.

"You don't have to be so formal," he answers. "You can call me Robert. Or Robbie or Rob if you'd like." Even though I grew up here, whenever I return, I'm reminded of how thick my parents' accents are.

Katie smiles slightly, "Thank you, Robert. Oliver's told me a lot about you."

"Hopefully good things and if not, don't believe him."

I laugh slightly. "All good so far. Didn't want to scare her off."

At that moment, Skye appears. "Oliver, Katie," she smiles, speaking aloud. I'm surprised. She's self conscious about how she sounds when she speaks aloud, so only does so in front of me, Mum and Dad.

I glance at him, wondering exactly what he's told them, "The pleasure's all mine, Robert."

Oliver is always talking about you Skye signs.

My eyes widen and I feel myself blushing this time. Good stuff I hope? Or do I have to beat him at Quidditch again as payback?
