Oh this was tremendously cute and funny! It made me chuckle, though, when England finds out the nation France is thinking about is blond - doesn’t really narrow it down much since about 90% of the European ones seem to be, for some reason!
And I loved how, although this is all dialogue, you can easily fill in the gaps yourself, especially at the end with all the muffled silences ♥

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

Writing purely using dialogue to convey actions is actually kind of difficult, but it's been a long time since I've done something like this, so I'm glad you were able to fill in the words in between :D

I don't blame you since it's a somewhat common style, especially when writing short pieces. I find it actually rather challenging to convey actions using just dialogue, and that itself is another part of making this style kind of fun to do. Also, I do the same thing (write a prompt then read others)... So yeah.

Thank you, and mine is not better than your response because I just read it and... I'll leave a comment there instead ^^

This was so clever! I love the way you've portrayed the two of them and their dynamic--their competitive natures, France's playfulness, England's gruff denial...it was all done so well! The end was absolutely perfect, too! &hearts

Just a quick thing, though. In this line: "Non, and that was twenty-one. It's called Twenty Question for a reason. How does losing feel?", shouldn't it read Twenty Questions? :D

Why yes, I do believe you're right! And it's now been fixed; thank you for catching that! :D
