I didn't meet Mark, I shook hands with a silhouette. I thought he was going to start tossing theoretical bacon at me. I fucking swear, the entire thirty minute period, of which I was never more than five feet away from him, not a single particle of light hit his face in order for me to make any distinction between him and any other creature on this planet. From the moment he exited the vehicle, he eclipsed the light from the streetlight; and the flashlight aimed into the hood of the Monte Carlo, only revealing a tattoo on his forearm, I knew I would leave that night still drawing a blank whenever I'd try to recall the face of who or what it was I met that night.
So far, in all my efforts to determine what Glassfords parents might be, I've deducted from all past incidences that his mother is nothing more than hair, slapping me in the face every time she rides by, and his father is Mr. Game & Watch.
