The repeat of the same sentence twice at the beginning is a little distracting though.
It is always interesting to get an 'outside' view of the team. Or any characters, really. It provides a fresh perspective of things we see already, but tailored to fit the observers point of view.
I can see Decker thinking these very things. He wasn't ever really a bad guy, just a man trying to do his job.
And I'm sorry about the first line showing up twice, the first time it's doubling as the summary for this community. Lately I've become too lazy to think up real summaries, so I just cut and paste a line from the fic.
You're probably the only one that isn't bothered by it, too. You've gotten used to their disappearing acts. You would have been disappointed by anything else.
And you just continue on searching for them to bring them home again, because that's your job, and you know that if anyone would understand that, it's them.
Love those ending lines. And yeah I agree with lttldvl, I can see Decker having this kinda respect for them. I always prefer Decker like this and I never liked how the show tried to villianize him when he first showed up :(
Thank you! I think Decker was definitely the smartest one they had after the team, because I think he was the only one that didn't completely underestimate them.
Oh I totally agree! He was the least stupid and therefore the biggest threat and therefore the most interesting.
I mean there were a few episodes where, against all TV logic, I'm thinking MY GOD! The A-Team is screwed! I mean I know they won't be but he was actually a viable intelligent threat.
And a great foil for Hannibal's wit!
Also EEEE! You are using an icon I made! OMG! That's awesome! My day is made ^__^
Exactly! Decker was much more of a challenge for them than Lynch.
Hee, I adore your icons! And this one too, ::points:: Actually, the whole reason I even got into A-Team is I shamelessly followed the pretty that is Dirk Benedict from BSG, only I think I've ended up an even more obsessed A-Team fangirl than I am about BSG. I'm in a total crisis trying to decide between Starbuck and Face. ;-)
