Belgariad reread - (yes, this is my new priority :P ) - started! I'm happily re-immersing myself into Faldor's farm and swiping ale with Belgarath and smithing with Durnik and scrubbing pots in Pol's kitchen. Scarred is a strong word... It's not like I wouldn't beta it.

Also, I find anything with Scotty and Mythbusters in the same sentence both terrifying and AMAZING.

RE: Mythbusters AU.. I have an outline. And dialogue snippets. And the potential for a billion different spinoffs. Blame madeyemax, I DO.

But... if someone wanted to be on hand for my breakdown when I realize I have no idea what the life of a uni student consists of, I'm accepting volunteers. XD

Older me thinks David Eddings was rather clever for making Belgarath a storyteller and thus creating a perfect exposition-dumping device right into the character.

It also helps that he is the wise wizard, old wizard, very Joseph Campbell type archetype. They always get the good exposition, but I do appreciate the way he made it the traveling story teller. It was a good cover.

The game was AWESOME. Sam Gagner (she says as if she actually knew who that was before tonight) scored a fucking perfect goal with 2.5 seconds left in the second period! And i went with my BFF Brett so it was gabbity-gab-gab-cheer-gab the whole time :D

I LIKE COOKIES.
