Jim had to swear he disabled all of the cameras on the bridge before Spock would agree to accompany him. And, of course, Spock was nothing if not thorough and the bastard checked. Every single feed.

It's a credit to Jim's less than savoury past (and Spock's trusting nature) that the ever efficient first officer did not perform a search for subroutines.

Specifically the one that downloaded directly to Jim's PADD as 'bridge protocol.osv'.

And if Spock attributed Jim's concentration on his paperwork the next duty day as an attempt to balance out his guilt for misusing his authority in such a vulgar, though satisfying, manner? Well, Jim's perfectly content to let Spock reward him later. ;)
