not much is really new in the Land of Nix..

however.. as my mind is working in list mode for some reason..

1) an insane amount of congratulations to the skitabug -person and fischstick -monkey-thing.. the two of you managed to find one of the few ways to make the Shangri-La world that the two of you inhabit even better.  It was just supremely awesome news to hear of ( Read more... )

:) :) :) Thanks for the congrats! We are very, very happy.

What's your super secret project? Is it the best RPG EVER?

Oddly, I haven't been watching Madmen. It seems like I *should* like it, but... maybe I just haven't gotten hooked yet? I already have too many shows than I can possible watch, so... we'll see.

I think your wedding gift should be (a) showing up, because I realize that will be no small task, and (b) having a NICE TIME! Everyone there is going to be really nice (well except maybe my mom, but I'll just keep her away from you). Plus it'll be fairly casual so you won't need a suit. Just like... I dunno, some nice hobbit wear. A tunic? What do hobbitsis wear?

it wouldn't be a secret if I told :-p

hrrmm.. when dressing up.. I guess we wear tweed... tweed and vests, much like the documentaries that Peter Jackson did a few years ago

oddly enough.. I actually like tweed :-|

As long as I can start plotting in advance.. I should be able to go, and (despite my many fears of large groups of people, shindigs in general, and everything I listed previously) I really want to go :-)

I mean.. how could I not want to be there when two of the awesomest people get hitched

Nix
p.s. I'm still waiting to hear back on that 'no zotting, thumping, or smooshing the hobbit' clause ;-)
