8.4 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia.

It looks like there weren't much casualties, but family in Sumatra and Jakarta please be okay. And daddy too. And anyways, even if there's no deaths in Jakarta, there's such an incredible amount of people living in the slums that might get there houses destroyed. hime1999, array_of_colours,

The damage is heaviest in Sumatra cities, and there are casualties. In Jakarta, as I heard it, people in tall buildings felt the earthquake most At least one TV stations had to relay the news program inside a shaking studio.

I'm all right though, and I hope your family's okay.

Yes,I've read! My Nenek and my cousin Harry live in Kalianda, Lampung. On a cliff facing the sea, some 60 km from Krakatau. Still waiting news from my father who now works in Sg :/.

Alright,that's great! It seems my family's allright too (and my grandmother wasn't back in Sumatra yet) so I'm glad :D.

but really, what's with the lack of love for Indonesia and the recurrent natural disasters >:?
