Out of curiosity, anything inspired you to put in // as linebreaks?

It's kind of a way to suggest there's an interlude, an interceding space. The // is slanted which may suggest a metaphorical 'bend in the road,' but the backslashes are also spaced as though diverting a flow of water. My thoughts feel like liquid a lot of the time, formless slime, so I figured this was a good way to gesture at the shifting of things.

Apart from which, it was also an attempt to do a service to anyone reading this blog as it is more a notebook than a novel -- and thus my thoughts tend to jump around a lot.
