It has been 8 months since her death. I don't really think about it anymore. Not like I used to. Of course, I'll think about her at least once a day.. I'd be doing something, or thinking and then I'd think of what she'd say if she was in front of me or some other things

Like you said, let's hope for the best.
If any disasters happen to occur, natural or otherwise, I think people will start to fear the end of days.
Panic isn't the best of companions.
