I think they heard you screaming over in Credinta.

[Don't mind the dry-sarcasm, Raven is kind of creeped herself, but can't show it. Damn emotionally controlled powers.]

Seriously, stay calm and try wrapping it in an old blanket or something, and get rid of it.

Depends on how you define a 'goddess', or anything or anyone 'divine'. She has power over all of us, and apparently this place, so that's a minimum definition for it in my book. Doesn't mean I'm going to fall down and worship her, trust me.

That makes her a dictator.

No arguments, but that doesn't mean she can't be both. Look at Ancient Grecian deities.

I...don't know anything about them.

You've never studied Greek or roman mythology?

[Well, ok, that's a bit odd, but then--Raven can recognize she's quite a bit more well-read than many, given her upbringing and life.]

Well...in the short version, the Ancient Greek and Roman deities were multiple, and ruled over different aspects of nature and life. Like, the sun God, Apollo, or the God of the Sea, Poseidon, or the goddess of nature, Demeter. In many ways, not only were the deities well...divine, and gods/goddesses--but they were also just as petty, if not more so at times, and just as 'human', as any human. They reflected the culture, in its good and bad ways, and while 'divine' could hardly necessarily be defined as good or evil, outright.

Those...don't sound like gods at all. Gods are...like...y'know. God. Like Jesus.

Depends on how you define a 'God". For example, in Buddhism, the man known as Jesus to the rest of the world, is considered a bodhisattva. One of those who attained Nirvana and then denied it to himself to come back and help the rest of us, an enlightened being one can view as a type of God, if one wants.

[did...not...parse...any of that.]

...what part didn't you get?

[It could sound very sarcastic, but Raven is actually taking time to try and not make it sarcastic or condescending. She really is trying to be nice.]

...The part where you were talking.

Gee, thanks...guess I'll just shut up now.

[Ok, not bothering to hide the sarcasm on that statement.]

[snort]

I don't mean to be mean, it's just...you're talking up there and I'm down here.

Lemme be honest. In the past five years? I think I've gone to school a hundred days. Tops. So uh... Yeah.

And I've never been to school at all.

Gee, and that's not meant to be mean? Could've fooled me.

[Dripping sarcasm there.]

Raised by monks. In another dimension. What's your point?
