Didn't think they were in Haven anymore. That was... certainly an understatement as Xion studied the ruined architecture. The buildings in themselves were difficult to distinguish one from the other off to one side, but otherwise, there was a hint to something very wrong and very alien to them. This wasn't damage that had been caused just recently. The structures were worn by the weather much like the images in the historical textbooks she had scored back in school when she wasn't caught up trying to figure out what to do next about the shards or trying her best to keep a grip on herself with the situation as it was in Haven. And to top it off, there was a viable difference to their style and build. Nothing. Absolutely nothing like the station they had been intent on traveling to ( ... )

All things considered, as they wandered, he probably should've just left it. But something, perhaps the part of him that was still his host insisted on continuing to carry the guitar neatly in its case; skateboard strapped haphazardly to the outside with a pair of bungee cords, as he walked along, gaze slowly panning from one set of ruins to the next. Wherever they'd ended up, it'd seen better days to say the least, but he just couldn't fathom how they might have ended up here. It was even difficult for him to imagine that shards might be involved at this point -their only reliable way of doing so was completely nonfunctional ( ... )

The way Roxas remained quiet as he was, while he had a tendency to be prone to thought like she herself, it still made for an uneasy silence between them. Her thoughts already starting to run rampant. How this couldn't be- How maybe they were just in that nightmare realm again that they had visited once before- but then they had stopped that just weeks ago. Everything had been normal... or as normal as things could get living the life of another person incognito while trying to help this ghost of a child collect the shards and settle whatever dispute was befalling Haven. But still, it was at least a constant. But now ( ... )

The more he stood there looking at the package, the more the notion that standing there and staring at it wouldn't yield any answers sank in. So while neither of them seemed to have much an initial idea what to make of it, it only made sense to him that if it was indeed addressed to them, it was meant to be open. It was simple enough logic ( ... )

Kanda had just been exploring areas of Nesreca that he hadn't bothered with yet. It was something to do, and if he could find something for Alma then that was just a bonus. He climbed over the debris with ease, making his way toward the train station that he had spotted and stopped when he spotted two people he hadn't seen before. New arrivals? It was odd to run into them without talking to them on the network first.

"Oi. You two just get here?" He really wasn't looking forward to explaining everything.

The sound of another person clamoring over the debris caught his attention and put him on guard. His instincts responded well before any significant thought could register and before he knew it, he was moving. With smooth motion, he casually snatches up the package, interposing himself between Xion and the stranger, very nonchalantly shoving the package toward his friend's hands in hopes that she'd take it without a fuss.

Roxas' gaze settles on the stranger, giving him a once over as his feet led the rest of his body into a defensive stance -unwilling to even try drawing his Keyblade just yet. When they speak up, he wants to trust, but there's just not enough around right now to tell him to let his guard down. Still, the least he was able to do was to speak up.

"You could say that... so where exactly is 'here'?"

Xion might have taken up a defensive position herself. But the way the package was suddenly pushed into her hands, well. It made things awkward a moment to say the least as she clambered about with it to make sure it didn't fall out of her hands by the suddenness of the hand off. By then, Roxas had found himself standing in front of her and Xion... couldn't help but blink awkwardly a moment before she settled herself for looking towards the young man not far from them.

The grip she had on the package tightened but otherwise? She remained as she was at least for the moment. Just observing. Listening. It was strange though... Strange and frightening how there was already a familiarity. Much like the way she had gotten a hold of people over the offworlder's network at Haven... only this was more unnerving because it was face to face.

Kanda wasn't phased by the sudden movement. He had eben around long enough to expect such reaction from people who had just arrived, especially if they were fighters. What was odd about the arrivals this time, though... was they they came together. That was something he hadn't seen in his five months of being here. Who knows if that Sasuke guy's seen something like this, too.

Interesting.

"Nesreca. You've been pulled from your world and brought into this one."

Given the state of alert Roxas and Xion are in, they probably won't take long to pick up what sounds like a minor landslide, or maybe something wild and very, very carnivorous heading their way. The odd growling sound gets closer and closer, until its unlikely source ― an English boy with white hair and a livid scar running down the left side of his face ― pops around a corner, wearing a simple black coat and a look of utter surprise. He's trailed by a winged orb of gold.

"Oh."

Pause.

"Did you just get here?"

The sound of that... Whatever it was, it put her instantly on alert. As if anticipating one of those shadow creatures to come around the corner and they would be in for another tiring fight. Not that Xion wasn't accustom to the fights. But after those nightmares they had dealt with, she wouldn't have minded a little reprieve from all things shadow-monster-fightin'. But that didn't stop her by any measure from grasping at thin air at the side ( ... )

Hearing that sound, he dropped the guitar case and left it with the package. He figured that he could always grab both if they needed to beat a hasty retreat. While the expectation for a fight was the first thing that came to mind -by the time he whirled about, he saw the cloaked figure emerge. Admittedly, he had a bad experience with people wearing cloaks, but something about the way he seems as surprised to see them as they are to see him, Roxas decides to err on the side of discretion.

Not willing to go entirely trusting off the bat, he takes a modestly defensive position near Xion, doing his best to hopefully avoid showing he was any more panicked than he already looked.

"Where's here, exactly?"

In contrast, Allen's body language was carefully passive. Appeasing, even; both hands held up at chest level with his gloved palms facing the new arrivals, both in an attempt to reassure and also to show he wasn't armed.

"Ah, sorry if I startled you, I wasn't expecting to find anyone out here... And this is going to sound a little― Far-fetched, but you aren't in your own world anymore. We're in an abandoned city called Nesreca, somewhere in an alternate version of Russia."

...Assuming you guys have heard of Russia.
