Summary: In a place like Nesreca there's only so much to do. Alma's wandering the building, looking to relieve some boredom.

The creaking sound from one of the empty rooms on the floor is what woke him. He had always been a light sleeper, moreso since he had arrived here in late October. Even the wind rattling the windows woke him up on some nights.

When he heard the doors in the hall open and close, his immediate thought was that it was Allen out doing his rounds, but the lack of a nagging Crow following him is what made him get up to look. He peeked out into the hall quietly, absently wonder if Lavi had come back without notice. ...Hey, it could happen, right? It wasn't like he missed the stupid rabbit or anything.

Alma wandered out of one empty room and toward another, stopping for a moment in the middle of the hall to prod at golem following him. Maybe he could find some different colored chalk to decorate his little flying friend with the next time he went to the school. White and blue were nice, but he was almost out and it'd be nice to have more colors on him instead of just that boring black.

Kanda just stared for a moment before opening his door wider, stepping partially out so he could lean back against the doorframe.

"Alma? What's up?"

Alma jumped a little at the sound of Kanda's voice, blinking up and down the hallway for a moment before fixing the exorcist with a sheepish smile.

"I'm exploring."

One of those rooms on the first floor isn't all that empty. Allen's busy moving some of that excessive firewood cluttering up his room to an unoccupied one, muttering something about arseholes with straight-cut bangs. The door's open for anyone who wishes to investigate.

Alma's ears perked up at the sound of movement in a nearby room, the boy tiptoeing over to the open doorway to peer inside. Once he registered just who it was, a mischievous grin spread over his face. This could be fun.

With a quick shushing motion to his golem, Alma padded quietly into the room, trying to sneak up on Allen in that particularly conspicuous way that children often do.

If the way Allen's grumbling had gone from PG-13 to G is any indication, he had noticed Alma's presence, but letting it on would ruin the fun! The last bundle of wood landed with a muted whump on the dusty floor, and he straightened to survey his work, his unguarded back practically begging to be ambushed.
