As soon as the shop keeper started finding the bodies, his first reaction was to run. So, he took it. There had been a few, missteps to say the least with the man tripping over a few hands, arms and legs. He had managed to avoid a head though. It was when Matt managed to get to the stairwell that things got stranger.

A boy trying to go down the stairs on a... Body. How disgusting... Poor body. "What a horrid person..."

"Very weak."Matt managed to pull out the screwdriver out of the wall and the boy's ear only to hold the bloody end to the younger's eye. "See this? Blood. Means you're just as weak as everyone else. Not special at all." The shop keeper ran the end of the tool along the boy's cheek, spreading the blood along the clean skin. "Worthless."

Youji's ear twitched, trying to dispel his anger. The words cut deepr than he'd like them to. He'd lost to Soubi. He was weak. Sensei wouldn't want them back.

He made a face, and laughed. "Zero isn't weak. I'll make your blood fly like pretty flowers!"

"Weak weak weak." The older tilted his head a bit when the other mentioned blood flying. "Blood doesn't fly. It runs." The odd attitude and lack of care must have been rubbing off on Matt. He certainly didn't feel like himself.

"It flies if you hit hard enough," Youji said calmly, grinning morbidly. He was growing increasingly aggitated, no matter what is smile suggested, and he wished Natsuo was here, or at the very least his bear.

"Stupid adult. Zeroes can't be hurt. We're the strongest there is."

"Still can't fly. No wings." A wolfish grin spread over Matt's lips, clearly showing off his fang like teeth. "Not stupid. If you can't be hurt.. Why are you bleeding? Not very strong at all." Matt leaned in close, pressing the screwdriver into the younger's torso, his voice a whisper. "Not strong at all. Weak little boy."

"Doesn't hurt," he countered childishly (though it was true), holding his gaze. The touch of the screwdriver was hard enough to draw his attention, but still sparked no pain. He glanced down, giving a huff. He was not weak. He would prove it, and Sensei would take them back. There was further shattering of lightbulbs, eyes flashing.

"Still can be hurt." Matt kept the tool in place, glancing to the side as a few more bulbs broke. Grey-brown eyes narrowed at the boy in front of him. "You breaking things..?"

"You're not going to kill me, so it doesn't matter," he said with a huff. What did it matter if he got hurt? It would get better, and it wasn't as if he could feel it. This guy wouldn't kill him...probably.

There really wasn't the fear of death ground into him that there should have been. In his eyes he was untouchable.

"Nyaa, why, you scared? Should I start breaking you? Tell me your name," he said with an eager grin.

"Never know. Might just. Deserve it." A thin brow arched at the younger. Honestly. What a stupid little boy.

"Hardly scared. No reason to be scared of you." Matt slipped the screwdriver into his pocket to be able to put a fingertip through the hole in the feline ear. He tugged at it a bit, testing its limits. "Matt. What is your name, lest I call you weak and worthless forever."

"Full name," he demanded, far too eagerly. His ear flattened, trying to pull away, but his expression didn't seem to register that anything strange was happening.

"Youji. And I told you, Zero isn't weak, and we aren't worthless."

Matt hooked his finger through all the way to have the finger meet his thumb. There was a testing tug to see how strong the skin was, causing the wound to open again and bleed on the shop keeper's fingers. "Matt Clarke. Now your full name, Youji Worthless."

Youji's lips curled into a full grin. Perfect. He ignored his question, repeating his name with a curious melody to his voice. "'Matt Clarke'. This name, control it." He hadn't tried full spells here, he wasn't certain it would work.

Matt just raised a brow when Youji said his name and... Whatever that was about controlling it. "Uh... Stupid? My name is mine. Not yours."

Youji frowned slightly, but decided to test it with a command. "Step back," he said firmly.

He stood still. Fingers still hooked in the ear. Matt just stared at the boy. "Uh... No?"
