Characters: OU!Uchiha Sasuke [theloneheir], OPEN When: October 30th Where: Nesreca Apartment Building 1 Rating: PG Summary: Time to repair the building before it gets too cold out!
Okami walked down the path, carefully picking his way among the debris while clutching a small golden orb in his hands. It kept a veil of warm air wrapped around him, keeping the chill at bay. The increased number of visitors (along with sudden disappearances) didn't startle him as much as he thought it should. But the sun rose every morning, after years of darkness, that was more than enough to keep him content for the time being.
As he neared the apartment building, he paused, tilting his head and watching Sasuke for a long moment, seriously thinking about turning around and heading back the way he'd come. He rolled the orb between his hands absently, sighing and walking over quietly, but not quietly enough the other man wouldn't be too surprised when he decided to speak up. "Uchiha?"
Sasuke glanced over his shoulder and at Okami, but only for a moment before he returned his attention to the building in front of him. He was quiet for a moment longer - long enough to make one think that he doesn't even want anything to do with you - before speaking up.
He shook his head slowly, smiling a little. Moments of silence never bothered him much. He walked over, standing far enough that he could have his own space. "Well...something temporary would be quickest. If we can find some wood, I'd be able to use magic to dry it out." He turned his hand over, letting the orb roll off his fingertips. It dropped for a second before catching on something and floating in the air, spreading the area of warmth.
Sakura made her way outside to the roof, to view the damage, only to find Sasuke staring dumbfound at the building. She couldn't help a small smile from crossing her lips as she jumped down and landed a few feet from him. Things... they had been a bit better. Sakura was fairly sure he wasn't going to kill her after what happened to his mother... and she felt more comfortable around him.
"Trying to devise a plan?" She folded her hands behind her back and leaned towards him with a soft smile. "I think using doton, or scrounging some timber would be the best way to go."
Sasuke watched as Sakura landed in front of him, just. Observing.
"Can you even create blocks of earth, Sakura?" He figured boarding up rooms was an option, but. Finding dry wood was the problem; he doubt there was a single tree left dry in this city.
Sakura pauses and the smile leaves her face only to be replaced by a skeptical look.
"I can. Or perhaps I could make something to bind wood together with... some sort of mud mix?"
Sakura walks away from him, just a few yards. She surveys the ground for a second before pulling her fist back and hitting it with all her might. It breaks into several big clumps. She finds a suitable chunk and forms a few hand seals before placing her palms to it. It shifts in it's form to make a perfect block. After a moment of admiring her work, she turns to look at him, with a questioning look.
Sasuke watched her before walking over, crimson eyes observing the block of earth. It could possibly work. Maybe. But the one thing that he didn't want to happen was to have the only medic over exert herself. That was all.
"Cement would be ideal to seal the blocks in place. However, with this weather, it would only end up freezing shortly after being mixed."
