Summary: Kamui's hungry, and his first victim just so happens to be someone he really dislikes.

How long had it been since he’d eaten? Too long to recall off hand, not the best situation to get himself into but there had been so little choice in his actions, this was a place where everyone was on edge which made feeding extremely difficult. He’d only chosen to venture out for such a thing now because he simply couldn’t wait any longer, which led to the question of who to pick as a victim of sorts

Sasuke stopped suddenly. The hairs raising on his back were telling him that he was both being watched and followed. He hadn't had this feeling in nearly two years or so, when he was still with Orochimaru. It'd so easily explain why he was feeling off and overly cautious, and mentally hit himself for not catching it sooner.

After standing there for only a moment, Sasuke turned and made his way away from his destination. If he could prevent his brother's unnecessary involvement in his condition, he'd jump on the chance of doing it.

As he walked, he activated his Sharingan just in case it was needed. If you intend to strike, Kamui, you had better do it soon.

Keep still, keep watch, and stop breathing. It didn’t take a genius to work out that this one would catch onto something and then steer the path away from the apartments. It worked to Kamui’s advantage; if things degraded into a needless fight then at least he would have trouble gaining back up. That would also apply to his ‘reserve’ but truthfully the half-vampire had been through enough without being pulled into this feeding matter

Crimson eyes darted to the left where the rock had landed before he turned, following the trajectory from which it had been thrown to find the source. It was clear now, that he was being targeted. It was good he had turned away from the building when he did.

Not wanting to be caught unarmed, Sasuke quickly discarded his arm guards and tapped his fingers against the seal on his wrist beneath, pulling out his sword in a poof of smoke. Quickly, he ran through the small list of possibilities in his mind.

Joker. This wasn't his style, so it wasn't him. Mello was gone. Naruto and Ino wouldn't touch him. Madara was on his side.

There. Kamui. Should've known, but the question was why, all of a sudden?
