Characters: Lavi (looseleafbook) and anyone else When: May 30th Where: North of the schools close to the river Rating: PG? Summary: Lavi sulking and hiding away from everyone.
Despite the fact that Tyki had just arrived back in Nesreca a day ago (has it really only been a day?), he decided to go to look around. He's been told by everyone - mostly - that he had been here before. Now, it's only the matter of whether or not Tyki would be able to see anything that would seem familiar to him.
But, he pauses when he enters a trolly car, sensing that someone else there. He looks around curiously, eyes landing on the redhead.
Well, Lavi would certainly count as something familiar, but he's not what Tyki had in mind most likely when he went out on his search for the familiar. And Tyki is most certainly not who Lavi wanted to run into when he was trying to be alone.
So while the Noah gets the slightly startled glance, the expression quickly fades into a blank "I'm ignoring you" kind of look. Then Lavi shifts on the bench so that his knees are now pressing into the back cushion and he himself is facing it, arms wrapped around his middle.
He raises an eyebrow at him, curious and amused at the redhead's reaction. Last he saw Lavi at all was back in the Noah's headquarters infested with Fiddler's parasites. Seeing him now, it makes Tyki wonder if he even remembers anything about that.
Though, he does chuckle. "Afraid I'm not a hallucination."
His desire to not actually see anyone coupled with the horrible terms that he and the Noah were previously on really does dictate his reaction. He doesn't want a fight right now, if anything Lavi just wants to be left alone. And no, don't know anything about the parasites, though he has been wondering what was so painful that Rhode mentioned and then ran away before answering the "what".
However, the Noah's answer hardly settles him more, "You can still go away, Tyki. I'm not in the mood."
Oh come on, one of you has to be forthcoming, at least a little bit. How else do you expect to try and get the Bookman back on your side while it looks as if he's at odds with his teammates? It could be nice to have someone with Innocence fighting on your side, but at the same time it might also risk a Fall.
His whole body stiffens at the mention of Kanda and Allen, and Lavi glares at Tyki from over his shoulder. "No one is attached at the hip except you and your niece."
After this long, would you even consider joining on the Noah side? Especially if one has their parasites inside of your body?
"Rhode and I are close, eye-patch. It tends to happen once you've known each other for years."
But, seeing Lavi's reaction to the mention of the other two Exorcists, it interested him. Did something happen that caused the redhead to hide out here? Away from the people he could have called 'friends'?
No, he wouldn't. Not really, but again, he just knows that he's a hostage and Chaoji was hurt in such a way as they don't know if he'll make it or not.
"Knowing each other for years doesn't mean that you're close." Lavi shifts more on the bench until his head is resting on the seat itself, ignoring Tyki's presence further. "And the name is 'Lavi' not 'eye-patch'."
A dig, you know that it is, that comment of yours, Tyki. Lavi won't ever get to have a family close like that, not even the Order is a family he can belong to. Pouring salt on the fresh wounds is all that the Noah is doing right now.
He growls softly, "Don't say my name like that and it's not like that. I don't need nicknames." Not unless you want to be an attachment, and Lavi would rather you not be.
"It isn't if you become attached to the name, Bookman Junior." Tyki knows he's playing with fire here. Not only is he dealing against a Bookman, but the redhead is also an Exorcist. And given that Tyki just arrived from fighting against a creature entirely made of Innocence, one would think he would be more careful.
Lavi refuses to be Scarlet, Tyki can be Rett, but he's not being a woman.
"Who said that I was attached to that name anyway?"
He's not looking for a fight, so if he honestly got that frustrated with Tyki he'd aim more so for causing the trolly to break apart or something else to get away from him. Since walking away from the Noah would just make him follow.
He just shrugs. He knows that it's rather pointless to keep up this kind of argument with a Bookman. Besides, Tyki was only doing this to see what kind of reactions Lavi has.
He's being pretty bland with them at the moment, isn't he? Not much in the way to keep the Noah entertained unless he pokes the right button and he's wandered away from those in a matter of speaking.

"Eye-patch?"

"How surprising. I've thought you'd be hanging out with kitchen knife or the cheating lad."

Watching his reactions carefully, Tyki tilts his head to the side. "My, want to be on first name basis already, La~vi~?"

He smirks. "Names can also lead to attachments, eye-patch."
