I commute on train to Manhattan everyday.
It's 40-mins ride--it's sort of like a mini trip for me.
Well, anyways, here I am, always on a crowded train...and I can't help but think that rush-hour public transportation is one interesting 'world'.

I have rush hours here in Hong Kong!!! T__T And frankly - it's annoying!! Cause everything gets soooooooooooo crowded and it's hard to go anywhere without being jossed around by random ppl's elbows/bags/feet/etc!! *waah*

Also - I have to leave like an hour just to catch a mini bus for 5 or 5:30 - otherwise there are never any seats!! T__T Rush hour stinks...

Dude...maybe I'm just unusually optimistic (lol).
Then again, 'rush hour train' to/from NY is nothing compare to "rush hour train" in Hong Kong...or in Tokyo...for that matter. It is crowded, but most of the people are sitting down.
I'd hate to be on the 'REAL' rush hour like you do.
