Winter

Jan 13, 2010 22:43

It snows every day now and I've grown to like it. It actually makes me happier when it snows and it's kind of boring when it doesn't. It's really pretty and I like the feeling of them landing in my hair and face.

We'll see when February comes. I've heard that that now is super warm and nothing like winter.

Wow I'm not sure I've ever heard you this happy before and I can honestly say that I'm excited for you being excited! The whole microscope thing I can relate to when we used them in labs I would put all my jewlery and whatever I would find under the lens, it was very entertaining. And the thing about mlicules I can see what you mean though I don't think I understand like you do. And I agree with science being more beautiful than religion, especailly when you describe it like that!

Aw, Ilan I'm proud of you making friends and leaving your room for the weekend! I'm happy you felt so at-home on that camping trip, too! That's great! Keep it up, my friend! =D

Lol, so is your seasonal thing less, now that you like snow? Yes, untouched snow is lovely. It makes me want to take photos, paint, or something. Untouched snow is untapped potential. It's beautiful.

I'm glad you re-discovered the wonders of the microscope. It's fun. And something you enjoy. Makes sense that the non-touched side would be straight and smooth and the bleached side would be basically fried, though. Anyway, glad you found your hair interesting.

I think it's possible to believe in a "god" or "higher power" without being taught about it. It's probably something sort of innate somehow. Or nearly so. But, of course they are always exceptions to every rule!

No SAD is light related. People get it because there is less daylight in the winter. It has nothing to do with the weather. If I was somewhere dark with no snow it would still occur. That's why light therapy is often effective (and why there are so many light themed holidays in the middle of winter ( ... )
