I'm still, technically, in the void of no internet. But Father had to go back to Oslo today, for a meeting, so I went along. I'd love to visit Oslo one day. And Norway in general! It looks like a really beautiful country :)

Oslo looks gorgeous to me, it makes me wonder how the rest of Norway must be if your friends haven't grown to like Oslo. I'm always fascinated by the names of everything as well, it makes it sound like you had such a classy day.

I'm glad you like the look of it! Most of Norway is very rural, some would say scenic - though most of our inland towns aren't really to my liking. Hamsun wrote of Oslo as 'this remarkable city no one leaves without a mark' (in my slapdash translation), and I think there's something to that: it's big enough that people without friends or connections can get lost. And those who move here seem to never quite 'connect'. Haha, classy day, indeed! I like the sound of that, as well.
