Glad to hear that you are not one of the ones cut in all this, the cuts that came through really sound drastic compared to how they are being reported.
As a bike rider, I would like you to at least report that your bikes were stolen if you haven't reported it yet. If the police don't know bikes are being taken they won't be watching for it. And while you can get new bikes there may be others that can't that easily.

Chasing 3 year olds sounds like fun too. I am just back from helping my parents deal with medical problems and an Uncle's memorial service near Philadelphia.

I'm kind of amazed there hasn't been more publicity about this. Community Support is gutted and going to be totally gone by January, it looks like, which is a real shame because I thought a lot of the changes they had made were making a real improvement.
Can I just report it over the phone or does an officer actually have to come by? I'm just not really home much right now...
I'm really sorry to hear about your parents and uncle :( I hope your parents will be all right!

Probably an officer would have to take the information, but they might be willing to do it over the phone. I haven't had to report anything in years, so I'm not sure.
I really hope the final health care bill can make an improvement to NC's system.
