For myself, I can only really do this event if it is an official one-day event. Coming as it does between Coronation and Crown Tourney, it's really really hard to plan for an extra day off.
As for pregnant or new baby, first of all congrats on your decision and good luck! Pregnant works out pretty well, you just need to take care of yourself physically more than you might. I performed a concert 2 days before my younger son was born :) but I did sit a lot during that day LOL. I've also been a feast steward with a 2 month old baby. The trick is to have someone there whose job it is to take care of the baby when you need to do something, and also to have lots of people to be your hands and feet, so you can do what you need to do. I actually think having a very new baby is easier than having a 1 year old - that is tough!
This was a difficult weekend to schedule -- there were at least 2 other things going on in the region; and for the SCA a big one in AEthelmearc. I know you were aware of some of the conflicts soemwhat in advance -- but you can never have a crystal ball to predict everything. I'd really suggest looking at the calendar and seeing if there's a different month that might work better. Even if it's 3-4 weeks earlier and closer to Terp.
