Everytime I write poems for him, it's wrong.

So I stopped trying.

"wrong"... a ponderous word, especially in writing

It's probably the "try" that needs to go away. One day the pen will spit out what it needs to. But if you hold on to a pen too tightly, the pressure restricts ink flow.

I meant "not right", but sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.
