36181 - Long weekend (sort of)

Happy thanksgiving to all...  NaNoWriMo has given me a much different concept of this month and its holidays than I had before.  Instead of wandering around eating chips before dinner, I now have a purpose.  Somethign to do that gets me out of watching the parade.  I can be a surly, hateful novelist, holed up in the computer room in the basement, ( Read more... )

I think next time I see you and rockband is around we need to get a guitar in your hands AND the Mic in front of your face. Id like to see you dual role it.

goodluck on your final 7 days!

don't know how good I'd be at the to be honest with you... but since you now own the game, I'm sure you'll have time to practice before our next battle. Also, insert a comment in here about Miek Kinnally HAVING to sing and play guitar at the same time due to lack of friends.

It was super awesome sauce having you there instead of holed up typing.

But then, I would only have had to cut on you a little if you didn't show.

It was good to be out... I haven't been in sternbergia since the first time you lived there... Yeah. that long. It was super awesome fun times.

Interestingly enough, I went to my buddy Ben's birthday party last night, and... well, what fo you know, rock band was there, too... It's a lame cop out, but I have found adding a fifth player named the bass pedal man, it allows people who might be hesitant to play the real bits of the game a chance to get in on the action, and acutally makes drumming on a difficulty other than easy a reality.

Also, When I dropped the trivial bit about Klub weisbrot, turns out they know Jae. As they said, "that kid gets around."

I think it depends on the situation. In a party environment, so long as the actual drummer is okay with it, I don't think it's a cop out at all.

During casual play in the house, I am going to make fun of the n00b with the person operating the shift key in Diablo bass pedal in Rock Band, all while failing out of the vocals on "Maps."

Yes, I am that talented.

Give them my condolences.

Unless they know him from Vampire LARPing. Then they deserve each other.
