Nintendo has this thing for making thier products constantly better (in most cases) and always improving. Take the Gameboy for example ... first thing they did was slim it down, then they added color, then they took it to 32-bit, add a backlight screen and total redesign (made the screen brighter before, making it even smaller.

It's progress.

So, they now have the ability to make it smaller, heard people ask, and did it. The Revolution is very similiar in the sense that it is more powerful than the Gamecube with new features but is basically a new version of the Gamecube ... which happens to be smaller...

I swear ... Nintendo seems to have the 'Apple Complex' lately.

I still think that the hinge looks flimsy. It doesn't seem to have that satisfing click into place.

If anything the new design seems solid and fitted with the beveled edge. The current DS's top doesn't match the bottom at all, providing a clunky mismatched appearance.

Meh, it looks nice and all, but I think I'll stick with my regular one.

...but if my sister buys mine off of me, then, hey...I'll still buy an old one to save money. O_o
