Dunno if embedded video works on LJ, but here's trying. "Watashi wa nihongo ga wakarimasusen, demo..." the footage of the tv tuner in action is really slick. The screen brightness is also great looking for the DS Lite. This still isn't enough to get me to buy a mostly useless tv tuner, but I can't deny that it looks a lot better than expected.

that video got me thinking... the english language (and most latin/greek based languages) has a small number of characters. ten numbers and 26 letters, and some punctuation.

how do the japanese, with thousands of characters, type on the DS?

they have a phonetic alphabet in addition to the traditional chinese characters.
