I'm pretty sure I'd have to reread this to pick up all the important things I've missed, but regardless of the gaps I can't fill, I still liked this one a lot. I like the entire atmosphere of how the story was narrated.

This is so hauntingly lovely! It's like it echoes. There's so much to not understand and it doesn't matter because somehow it feels like there are answers. ♥ Ohno has taken him outside. I love it. I love how he finds him. I love how he won't stop being himself. I love how he has NOTICED that something is wrong but can't really say it. This whole thing is genius.

Thank YOU. This is just a wonderful, wonderful story. And I meant to say this earlier but lost it in my speechlessness: I love how the dialogue is so sparse--it gives a feeling, a voice (as it were) to the emptiness around Nino, it mirrors the sterility of the ship. I think that was beautifully done. It makes what's there even more meaningful, so much so that it aches.
