[ A pause, then a shuffling sound and a click as he turns it to a video feed. Y halo thar! You might be seeing Heine's face for the first time here, kiddo :) He's turned it on for a very particular reason, to give her a direct and unwavering stare as he speaks again ]

So don't let them in to find out.

[Misao stares at his face, emerald green eyes wide.]

I've been looking for them for so long . . . but I guess it's not them, huh?

And . . . Aoshi-sama's not a ghost . . .

[ He just stares at her for a second or two then shakes his head and pulls his shoulders forward a bit. Socially awkward Heine is socially awkward and the gynophobia doesn't help matters. But audio and video makes things a bit easier. Kinda. Sorta. It's a trade off. ]

Think the people you were looking for back home would hang around outside the window and not say a damn thing? If... it were them, and that Aoshi-guy, wouldn't they have something to say to you?

Yeah . . . they would . . . I know they would!

[She closes her eyes a moment--one can see her shoulders trembling--and she suddenly punches the ground, shaking with her emotions.]

This is a cruel joke! I want to see them!!!

[ He's silent for a while, longer than what would be considered comfortable for most people. For a second or two there it may have even seemed like the feed had frozen or something. Then he sighs, looking off to one side and rubbing the back of his neck uncomfortably like he wants to say something but isn't quite sure he wants to, or can't find the right words. Or both. Finally, he lowers his hand and heaves a sigh though keeping his head turned away from the camera so he's not looking directly toward her this time ]

... wanna come hold up with us? At least the ghosts hanging outside the windows here are people you don't know. And, y'know, we don't really care about them being there, either.

[The silence goes unnoticed by the small ninja girl. She is used to silence and stoicism that the nature of the guy she's talking to doesn't bother her. However, when he speaks again, she glances up, staring at his form through the screen.]

Okay. Uh . . . I'm Misao. I know we already spoke before.

[She glances at the visions of her loved ones again before clenching a fist, returning her gaze determinedly to the camera.]

[ Video; ] [ 1/2 ] D'oh. Fail is I orz

[ He nods, remembering her name from before but he's not always good at referring to people by name. It's not that he doesn't remember them, it might just come down to laziness, or discomfort, or him just being generally quite messed up but he doesn't make comment on it. A reintroduction, in this case, doesn't rile him any. ]

Heine.

[ He stares back at her this time when she looks back at the camera, holding the look for a while before shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly ]

Your call. Offer's there if you want it, kid.

[She's very trusting by nature, and gives him a small smile.]

[ He nods, leaning in to leave a final shot of his bandaged throat area before clicking the feed off ]

[ooc; Well~ if you would like to play it out we can certainly do :) Heine's invited her up knowing Badou will be there as well so his lady-phobia will be cushioned a bit. Badou-mun has said he's game if you want to and she will likely be coming in on the tail-end of the two of them having had a rather heavy conversation of sorts so I'm game if you are, or if you would be happier assuming that is also good by me XD;; ]
