Make sure it's the actual kanji symbol. Check with someone who's fluent. Check with several people. Tattoo artists lie.

Believe me, I have done lots of research. I've studied tons of kanji books, spoken with quite a few Japanese people, and have taken two years of Japanese classes.

All because I have a friend who tattooed what she thought said 'Easy Going' in kanji on her back. She wasn't very happy when I informed her that it actually meant 'cheap'.

I love that man. I've actually read Neverwhere 11 times now. Still haven't seen the BBC series though...

Spider-Man and Shadowcat are THE CUTEST THING EVER. Good Christ fucking. That issue was so cute I almost couldn't bear it. I had to lend it to someone the minute I finished, because I had to share it. Wonderful.

Yeah. I seriously did cheer at the end. They've only been building it up, for like, 800 issues. And that is SOOO how all of my relationships start. Minus the spider powers. And the X-Jet.
