I may be an anime and manga fan, and I may cosplay, but I'm not an otaku. And I fucking hate it whenever ignorant fanboys and fangirls use that term with such fucking pride. And like I've said in another post on here...while I like anime and such, I can't stand a lot of the fans.

And I've known people like that... Oh, how I've known people like that... Some that never grew out of it and are in their 30s-40s and still act like that. And some that are younger and probably won't totally outgrow it... It's sad, really. Anime and manga should be an interest, not a lifestyle...
