Yes but there is still some debate as to whether he really counts. After all, he does wear black and sneak. He also seems to embody nearly the antithesis of the typical pirate personality. My friends and I have been arguing over him for years and gave him his own category of "Westlian pirates" to make matters easier.

ninja turtles are superior to pirates of the carribean, this is true, but they're in different genres. you cant possibly compuare the awesome abilities of animators to the limitations of people.

c'mon now. lets not resort to fictional stories to make you case. pirates are more awesome in real life, and thats what counts. eat it.
