This post was actually pretty tongue in cheek. I mean, really, you'd think this whole debate was something earth shatteringly intellectual the way I presented it.

ED.com appears to be Wikipedia as if it were written by the Something Awful or Fark folks. I stumbled onto that article from elsewhere on the site, and had a good laugh.

Ninja and pirates don't team up in a community called Ninjas vs. Pirates. We either try to kill eachother, or both kill one guy, then realize the two of us are in the same room, and THEN try to kill eachother. Seriously, once I was being asked to assassinate this Daimyo, and the guy who hired me said he'd arranged a ship to get me into his territory afterwards, and the bastard forgot to mention it was a PIRATE SHIP. I ended up having to kill his whole fucking crew and then swim to some island, and Jack Sparrow was on it with an escape plan, but before he could tell me it I had to cut off his head. I waited on that damned island for a week before the coast guard picked me up. But the bastards were listening to pirate radio, and I had to hijack the ship, sail to the radio station and kill everyone there. And on top of that, the DJ made fun of my outfit before I buried a kodachi in his head. And it was broadcast all over America. I can't help it if my assassination point was in the legendary teletubby pajama shaped rice paddies ( ... )

I know! Whenever I try to work together with ninja men, they just try to sleep with me, saying stuff like "You haven't lived unless you've been with a ninja" so I end up having to kill them for trying to take advantage of me. It totally blows.
